Ryan Knight,  fired up!  After another great run down the South Branch we headed home to the Falls section of the Upper McCloud and a great Bar B Q with friends.  Not bad for 30 minutes from home.

Big Slate Creek.  This is the last drop of the main gorge.

Ryan Knight charges hard through 20 And Out, having a clean line and a quick roll is crucial here as the river spills over a huge slide to falls immediately afterwards.

Man I love this time of year!  Spring is always the full of new adventures and challenges, like trying to balance work with play!  And I have been getting to do a lot of playing so far.  Some great runs for the season so far... Big Kimshew, South Branch 3 times allready including the first full decent (run everything that has been run) and highest water decent of the lower canyon to date.
